Welcome to Buck Land. We are located about six miles west of Ehrhardt, SC in historic Bamberg County. Buck Land consist of around 2,000 acres of privately owned and leased land. It is covered with pine trees, oak trees, open fields, food plots, and some cypress cut-overs. We hunt Texas tower stands and deep wood ladder stands. A rifle range is also on the property.

All hunts include our comfortable lodge equipped with full service kitchen, beds, linens, towels, color TV's and outside grills.

Game is cleaned and trophies capped by local processors. Some local restaurants are available for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Bamberg County has one of the largest populations of deer in South Carolina. In addition to this, there is also a large population of turkey. The state of South Carolina has the longest deer season in the United States and a spring turkey season is available.

Bucks can be taken from August 15th through January 1st. Doe season is September 15th through January 1st. Due to the early opening date, bucks are in velvet and can be taken. Turkey Season begins on March 15th and ends on May 1st.

Prices do not include hunting licenses or antler-less deer tags. Antler-less deer tags can be purchased on-line through SCDNR for $5.00 each.

Harvesting at Buckland

• On a three (3) day membership hunt you are allowed to harvest one (1) antler-less deer and one (1) buck.
• On a four (4) day or five (5) day membership hunt you are allowed to harvest two (2) antler-less deer and two (2) bucks.
• On a three day turkey hunt one (1) bearded turkey a day may be harvested.
